Hi,

Got a diesel engine problem!
does anyone know a decent VW specialist in Shrops?
I was recomended CJ Autos in shrewsbury but cant find any trace on the web?

Had the RAC out this morning and the timimg/set up is out,struggling to start, black smoke coming out the back with a knocking noise????

RAC chap said he thinks no major damage has been done but dont drive it
any help on garages etc would be great

Avoid Frank Conde, Hengoed, Oswestry...

A very expensive mistake a few years ago there for me. (£600 for a stripped bolt!) Same job needed doing 6 months later cos he made a bodge of it, took me 2 hours and 50p's worth of parts.

On the plus side I now do all my own mechanicing and its saved me hundreds, might even have made the 600 back by now

thanks for the advice rang a couple of vw contacts and they both recommended the vw van centre in shrewsbury so going to try here in the new year
