Hi All.

Anyone out there heard of it?

Is it good stuff? Any down-sides?

Yeah its very popular stuff in construction. It comes in hard sheets which are put behind plasterboard or inside cavity walls. Very good and it really keeps the heat in. Its covered in plastic too I think so it should be ideal for a van. I was thinking of putting some behind my plywood headlining. Its about and inch and a half thick.

its covered in foil. sizes range from 25mm to 100mm thick. just a warning tho it is designed to work with an airgap otherwise interstitial condensation could occur

So I wont use it for my headlining then!

they make it round the corner from me,and just down the road they sell seconds you can get a trailor stacked as high as you can for about £20.00.

I'm in the process of fitting some to mine as some has come up at the right price. the first bit (only bit really) I've so far bothered to fit I noticed on one day seemed to form condensation on the outside of the pannel (and anywhere I couldn't see?). My current plan is to fit it to the trim pannels rather than the bodywork. Should be easy to do that way everywhere apart from under where the rear windows go.

Insulating the rear window with the stuff at night is easy, just cut a peice to about the shape of the rear glass and stick it behind the jailbars!

You can also get almost identical stuff called "celotex".
