Hello Everyone.
My van like most is suffering mild rust around the wheel arch corners, what is the best way to slow down, protect and enhance these edges for longitivity?
Cheers Mark 4088

id say the best bet would be to regularly clean corners as the crud collects there, give it a dose of waxoyl when its clean and dry.
if its not rusted through then id clean off as much of the rust as you can, get some inhibitor on it and get it covered with paint. the only real way to slow it right down is to remove the rusty bits and replace them. our old van had rusty seams for years, they never rusted right through as i treated them every couple of years

i did the whole routine with mine - wire brushed all the loose rusty flakes off - sand papered - filled where necessarry - cleaned - 2 coats of anti rust (hammerite) - sand papered again - and brushed on the waxoyl sealant to cover the complete acrh -
feels ok driving through puddles!
