crap rhyme but hey - it's sunday night! -

when the the t25 water cooled petrol 1913cc 1990 year - single carb campervan - phew - is parked up - a small puddle of anti coolant appears under the gearbox (?) - definitely coolant (i tasted to make sure!) - mmnnn) -

van doesnt need topping up - and seems to run well -

where might leak be coming from - any ideas where i should i be looking? is this sign of beeg engine trouble?

all ideas gratefully received -

:)

I would get under and have a look as anything fluid when leaking seems to drip from the bottom of the gearbox and it could be coming from anywhere.....

sounds right -
will brave the weather this week and have a crawl about -

the (cup full) puddle is about level with the front wheels - right in the middle -

will let you know what i find later in the week -

my van leaks from pipejoints to radiator now and again and leaves puddle in similar plce. high concentration of antifreeze will find any gaps plus hoses getting a bit tired probably.
I seem to have to tighten it once a year :?

I had exactly the same with mine over the weekend.

Turned out one of the pipe unions from the radiator rubber hoses had come loose where it joins to the front to back plastic pipes. Pushed it back on, tightened the jubilee clip and its good as new.
