AAZ in and running well!

Been putting the finishing touches to my AAZ install over the last week or so, been keeping my eye out for any oil leaks/weeps and trying to get everything just so.

There's still a few little things i want to get sorted, but its at a state where im happy to start driving it properly. So i have been :D

Im running the JX manifolds (inlet relieved slightly to have the same shape as the AAZ ports), with an early AAZ turbo re-indexed to suit. AAZ breathers, original JX airbox and pipes. LDA pin from a GTD (still playing with the settings).

Im happier than Larry, the increase in torque especially is just enough to cut down on the changing gear constantly around town. I'm able to drive certain roads in 3rd when i would previously have needed to down shift for some of the corners, it just keeps pulling.
Feels so much more suited to the weight of the van, however it's still what i would call adequate. There's definitely still a case (in an ideal world) for having more power, but for the simplicity of the conversion from JX its absolutely brilliant.

:D :D

Just do as much research as you can before starting. There's more than enough info between here and BY on all the issues.

If you can, try and get an engine with an earlier style pump on it. The later ones have more wires coming out of the injector pump which can be a be a bit more hassle i'm led to believe.

Also, try and get one with as good a turbo as possible, i had a right old time getting a replacement for mine.
