Main brake pipe.

Having taken my fuel tank out I had a nosey around and found that the brake pipe that goes from front to back is corroded.

As it's still got the green paint on I believe it is the original steel pipe...not in too bad a nick (some corrosion at the front bends) for something 26 years old, however as I have got the tank out I may as well change the pipe, then that will be all pipes renewed.

Anyone changed one of these pipes before, if so, how bad a job is it?

Thanks for any advice.

I changed mine a while ago, went for a copper one as is easy to bend round all all the bits and pieces in way. Not hard to do, the main problem was having enough pipe clips the the right place. Couldn't get any new ones that pushed into old holes so got some fuel line clamps, bolted them in and used them. Seemed to do the trick ok.
