Sure I have seen the same thing in B&Q, might be worth a look as you can see one working then (well if the assitant does'nt catch you ripping open the packaging  )

I have a similar LED lamp stuck to the underside of our rear overhead locker which is good enough to read a book with and gives a reasonable spread of light .

Batteries seem to last a while. But at 7 quid a go I won't be buying any more.

I like em...but where can you get them for 80p each... giz-a clue..

If you mount em on a cupboard surface with a bit of ingenuity and use re-chargeable batteries and a trickle charge solar panel U could run em indefinately thru the summer...better than draining yer battery..

Kev....
Further to that I just bought a box of em of fleabay...got together with a few of me pals & bought a load for 45p each...sorted.

Now I need VELCROMAN to stick em everwhere...yahooo  EVERYWHERE? yep...

You can get them in the 'Pound shop', not sure but I think there are 2 or 3 in the blister.

We have 3 of these runing down the centre of the roof ( our van is still a tin top), they give of plenty of light at night when the twin strip lights are too much. I also got them converted to 12v .
We got ours from the petrol station they were on offer when you filled up.
