hi guys, ive heard a bit of stuff about fitting 2 wheel drive springs to a syncro...... but why? there appears to be no advantage.

i've just bought a 2wd parts van, the 2wd springs look very similar to the 4wd ones fitted, or am i missing something?
cheers for the advice, i'm needing it!

2wd front springs are about 2 inches longer than syncro front springs,so theirs a lift straigt away,on a pick up these will work well on a camper there a bit soggy so you can fit heavy duty 2wd front springs that will work well,i know of a german company who sell a syncro lift kit and spacers and its using 2wd front springs for the lift,cj.

What do you need to lift the back end to match the front lift then?

use packing under the spring.
