I have purchased a sender and gauge but the sender doesn't fit in the hole. The sender bottoms out before the thread takes. I have been told it's 1/4 inch with a 1mm thread but I can't find anywhere that sells this size. What is the size I should I be getting? I have seen adaptors and senders but don't know what one to get. Any ideas? It's an AAZ I have.

Senders in original engine are 10mm x 1mm thread pitch. If you have got an aftermarket sender for a gauge or similar it will probably be 1/8 BSP, so you`lkl need an adapter to sort the problem. Try Baxter at his garage he sells various adapters, t-pieces and gauges etc to do this sort of thing
