DANGER DANGER! Battery charging

I was just thinking, yes I know its dangerous!
I am still doing the finishing touches to the new interior, of Nancy and whilst playing around with the electrics between the hook up and the ZIG i thought!
Ok the leisure battery gets charged by the ZIG when hooked up and the engine whilst running! But is it possible to charge the van battery when on hook up? without just pluging in a battery charger?
Does anyone know of a nice tidy way that this can be done, permanantly wired sort of unit jobby wotsit?
So when Nancy is parked up for spells, either on site or the drive that I can maintain the van battery charge?

IT WAS JUST A THOUGHT!
Thank you

My Zig will charge the main battery off hook up , have a look at the switches
(well it would if i got round to fitting it

)
.. if not i would say fit a toggle switch so you can switch between the two

what zig unit have you got? it may have the facility but not the wiring in place! other wise you need a two way switch, rated at whatever the zig charger is rated at, connect the common to the charger, leisure battery to the L1 and the van batt to L2, in one possition it will charge the van in the other it will charge the leisure battery!

if you put a battery charger on the vans battery and wired it in to your 240v supply wouldnt it charge both batterys like the alternator does when the engine is running?

Hi guys
The Zig I have is the CF8b, as I said it will charge the leisure when on hook up but no wiring or terminals for the main battery.
I must admit I got lost a bit on the thread, would you like to explain WHAT YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT

as I said I got LOST

Basically the wire that goes to charge the leisure from the zig , put a toggle switch on it and then you can choose which battery to charge ...
DISCO a two way switch, rated at whatever the zig charger is rated at, connect the common to the charger, leisure battery to the L1 and the van batt to L2, in one possition it will charge the van in the other it will charge the leisure battery
