I know its been asked before but i can't find it!I'm fitting a 1.9AAZ into my westy, have bought a complete van, with the diesel already in, that is jumping out of fifth so want to use my gearbox.Do I just swap the bellhousings over?

Yes, your bellhousing will fit. Be nice to your diesel bellhousing and torque the bolts down properly.

Oh and you'll need to change the input shaft if your existing gearbox is from a petrol. The diesel input shaft is shorter.
