electric fuel pump for 2.0 A/C

My fuel pump appears to have packed up on the 2.0 A/C.

As mechanical pumps aren't available from anywhere, I'd like some advice on a good electric pump.

Any recommendations?

Have you tried www.vwheritage.com for a mechanical fuel pump?

Is it the pump or just the fact the pushrod that works it has worn down??
Worth checking out.....

I used to use Facet 'silver top' electric fuel pumps on normally aspirated engines, they're good for anything up to 150HP. Cost about £70
They make a loud clicking noise so use the rubber isolators that should come with the kit. Bypass your mech pump and either make a blanking plug for it or whip it out and remove the push rod to disable it. Hide a switch somewhere for it and you've got a really effective immobiliser, you can go about 200yds without switching it on then it conks out.
