Well-known South African Syncro enthusiast Gordon Craig died this morning after a long and drawn out fight against cancer...

Gordon had been a champion of everything Syncro for a long time, and continued to do so with energy and enthusiasm long after his illness repeatedly hospitalised him.

Our condolences and sympathy go out to his family and friends in South Africa.

Yes, I love that vid, from the first time I saw it... :)

I'm very sad to hear this news. Condolences to his family and friends.

I last met him at the Syncro anniversary event in '05, and I'll always remember him as that lively enthusiastic chap, in shorts with a great tan !

I am gutted... I knew for some time he wasnt well, but hoped and wished he would pull through with his fighting spirit.

All our very best wishes to Gordons family and friends..

We met him at the syncro 20th in France in 05 also, he talked and ate with us (Me, Tracey, Bonnie and Alex) and had a great time...

His enthusiasim was unbelievable and even though he was very tired from all the questions, he continued without a moan.

He sat with Tracey and the kids one eve, talking about things "non syncro" and I think appreciated the break..

Will be missed by us, a true charracter and a really nice bloke...
