Strange LPG behaviour?

The van has been running fine
Then I noticed the Idle speed seems to be running high at 2000rpm when at traffic lights etc.
Sometimes it would run ok back down to normal about 1000 rpm, but then shoot back up at the next junction.
I eventually ran out of gas no surprise 100km short of normal.
Oh absolutely normal on petrol.
Filled up this morning different station and everything is OK back to normal idle. Running fine
Anyone else had this type of behaviour ???
