Rear Bearing or?

OK sounds simple enough but is it likely that both sides will need replacing at the same time? I have got "play" in both sides, it rattles when the van is unloaded, so I thought wheel bearings, then I thought again, centre 46A/F nut not torqued up enough after a mechanic did rear brakes for me last year, well tried the nut with a big bar and standing on it, they apear to be OK, so what else could it be? Cant mot till fixed.
Van has done 140000miles from new so probable on origional bearings.

always wise to do them in pairs mate (just typed Paris 1st he he). If one side has worn to that much then typically the other side will not be far behind, plus as you can guess if you do one side then the other one will be quicker to do.

Check your shocks are bolted up tight, this can cause a "rattle"

Louey you are right, both or none!
Si, well the play is in all directions up and down so looks like I will have to bite the bullet and do them.!

My van developed a rattle a few months back. It sounded as if I was towing a tool box behind me.
It turned out to be the rear spring had broken and was rattling around withing the rest of the coil spring - make sense?
