ok I know I'm supposed to rotate the wheels around my syncro, from other bit's I've read on here people are suggesting every 5-6000 miles ok fine....
but I have just swapped the rims diagonally, (front nearside to rear offside etc) so the question is in another 5000miles do i just reverse this and put the wheels back into there original position?
Or is it best to say rotate them clockwise and just keep moving them round the van?????

Dont forget your spare (or both if you have two)! Just try and run all your tyres down at an even rate! 5/6 k is just an estimate! Its all down to driving condition's and the load your tyres are under!

O/S F -> N/S R
N/S R -> O/S R
O/S R -> N/S F
N/S F -> SPARE
SPARE -> O/S F
keep on rotating em in a kinda 'move round one' kinda way !

oh ,and depends on compound - somrthing really hard like a BFG MT will need rotating less than a Macho for instance.

thank's fella! we never actually got a matched spare so I only swap the 4, vans on 4 matched 8 ply michelin agilis van tyres, it's a daily workhorse spends most of its live on tarmac, so it's not on BFG's or anything like that.
Anyhow another question seeing as my little brother's just treated himself to a T4 syncro am I right to assume this will also need tyres rotating????????

good practice to swap tyres on any vehicle due to differing axle weight , driven axle wear on 2 wd (or selectable 4wd), torque bias/VC on a 4wd , steering axle wear , finite mal-adjustment in camber/caster/toe in/toe out
etc etc etc .
must bear in mind directional tyres(although sounds like it dosnt affect you) - either sports type or 4 x 4 - to do it properly theres a bit of rim swapping involved
