try doing strata florida in flood - nearly 3t of g wagon going sideways

in the current syncronauts calender the picture of matt flints van,well that was in august,did it this year in febuary up to the door handles, water coming throuth the dash board,didnt bother it though and a bit busy to stop for photos,cj.

Taken at the local quarry. It took the guy taking the picture 6 attempts with the camera before he got a half decent picture!

The water got up to the headlights (shown above), which I hadn't realised until I finally got out.
Great fun though

i had this pic taken after i did the BIG bog hole ( see aus 4x4 day out), when i saw the video the splash was over the roof! the wade was over the head lamps, you can clearly see a tide mark!

If so, how did the hot turbo react to being submersed in cold water?

The turbo on my landy loved it
TBH, i dont think petrol engines are that suited to wading - too many electrics to go wrong - i imagine all the ones here that have been up to the headlights were diesels ?
This is where i get proved wrong!

same as ringo - defender regularly went to over bonnet ( that was with 36" tyres and a 3" lift :lol ) no problems at all .
