AAZ Diesel Head Question

I have just taken the head of my 1.9 AAZ turbo diesel engine in my syncro DOKA
I have had it pressure tested and skimmed (W Browns Halifax) thanks Simon
All OK

My Questions are

1. I need a 3 notch head gasket for AAZ. GSF Quote £19.50 + vat
is the quality OK
2. Do I need new bolts, I don't know wether the existing bolts are stretch or not (the have the thread full length).

What are the torque settings

Petter Russek says 45ft.lb. then 54ft.lb. then one half turn
then warm engine and quarter turn.
600 miles latter further quarter turn.
I assume this is for ordinary bolts
I assume the benefit of stretch bolts is that there is no re- torquing of the head.
3. The head set I have priced up from GSF IS £37.60 + VAT for what appears not alot no bolts no head gasket.
Do I need on at all or can I buy the inlet and exhaust gaskets seperate
Do I need an AAZ or JX one
I assume the inlet and exhaust are JX items Head is AAZ

The GSF ones are Elring, which is what I just used on my SB rebuild. It seem fine but only done ~1000miles so far.

> 2. Do I need new bolts,

Yes.

> What are the torque settings

The head gasket package has the torque procedure clearly marked. Unlike the fibre gaskets, the metal AAZ gaskets do not have the additional 90degree after 500miles, nor any faffing about heating up the engine

The inlet ports are a different shape on the AAZ c/w the JX, the exhaust ports are the same.
