I just installed a kph speedo yesterday (Thanks again Aidan). I just have a couple of curiousity questions. Whats the red mark for between the 40 and the 60 kph markings? Is it just to indicate where 50kph is or is there another purpose? Is it something similar to what the old Golfs had where they had markings on the speedo to show when you should change gear? Also, whats the electronic circuit for in the back of it? Theres an IC, a relay, a crystal and a few resistors and diodes on it. Any clues?

How you doing Airhead, i take it you are now fully recovered after the op?

I take it the red mark at the 50kph is the 30 mph speed limit, just a guess.Thats what i keep telling me self.
