My Missus thinks I,m nuts cos I use "VELCRO" all over the place especially in my van. Heres a few of the things I have used it on.
1. Mirrors stuck to the Hi-Top lining .
2. Torch stuck to lining.
3. First aid kit stuck to lining.
4. CD unit stuck to lining above cab.
5. Bullseye level on Dash.
6. Small fan stuck on dash.
7. Blackberry stuck on dash.
8. All curtains to stop em flpping about when closed.
9. Bottom of drinks mugs (brake hard tea flies out mug stays put).
10. To fix all mozzy nets to opening windows & sliding door windows.
11. Curtains in awnings (got two, double slider).
12. Binoculars (case) stuck to hi-top lining.
13. Bottom of socket set box(stop it sliding around under drivers seat).
14. Wine bottle opener stuck to side of unit(for extremely fast access).
15. Little bit stuck up inside the heater cover in the cab, stopped it making a noise.
16. To fix a blackout under my Fiamma roof vent.
17. Bits stuck under dash for Bluetooth & other mobiles.
18. Some bits & bobs in the cupboards.
It can be bought for exterior use & was contemplating making my own fly awning and using Velcro to fix it...

Now I,m looking for more ideas!
In fact if it moves when we drive... it gets Velcro'ed....so Guys & Gals what uses if any have you used VELCRO for ... Funny comments welcomed

Ditch your bike rack .. and velcro a couple of two wheelers to the back.

But don't tell the coppers I gave you this advice

Velcro is for puffs who can't afford proper glue .

Please dont take this the wrong way but I thinks your a nutter.

Well I reckon my shower curtain wil be nice & snug velcroed under the tailgate when she's lifted up..no messy curtain hook, bits of wire or poles, be able to shower there perfik like...

Dave B like ur idea, but nowhere to put velcro on the bike...but there is a company in the States that make stainless steel velcro, which gives me ....watch this space haha...

you could use the velcro to keep people with affro's from moving about in your van!!

Sorry to put a spanner in the spokes, but the problem I found with using velcro is that when the vehicle gets hot in the summer sun, the sticky side tends to become detached from whatever it's stuck to.....and yes, it's happened to me

vwjon, hahahahahhhaaa..great one...no nudist camps for me with all this velcro around....might get stuck with some unwanted visitors..

It does peel off the dash area Spiral..so I just use it mostly on the moveable items & as my H/top is like with that carpety type stuff, it sticks brill.

This could be the long-awaited answer to everyone's often-asked question about which alloys you can fit to a T25....
Just grind off the studs, get a load of velcro, and voila... you can fit any wheels you like....

I wish I'd invented velcro.

I'm a user too, even though I know it's removable and non-damaging I still ponder for hours on the perfect position for my i-pod, phone or legs. It's like a moment of clarity when the right place hits you, then you get the rush peeling the backing and, bang, you are into the wonderful world of things staying where you put them.

Aboslutely Johnny..I get the same buzz, but best place for Ipod is in dash outta sight..( lotta people out there with Velco fingers) use FM mod & bluetooth etc. Dont want to get caught fiddlin with ur Ipod whilst on the slab eh..

Why dontcha change the name of your vehicle to Caravellcro ...maybe they will sponsor you....

ahh that satisfying ripping sound .....

I got options when it comes to the i-pod, I can have it in the glovebox charging and playing with control from the head unit or through a line-in
via the headphone socket, the latter gets used when I'm chilling or camping hence the magic velcro"ooohhh" solution.

Decided at Crabfest I need to get some in grey to match my interior so I can make a torch/lighter/keys/hat/phone/i-pod storage area next to my bed, a vertical bedside table if you will.

Caravellcro, I hope that doesn't stick.
