read lots of posts recently about gearboxes and how they are compatable with engines ( ie TDi and 'regeared' boxes).
am running a 5 speed 3H and have 195/80 15s fitted. what do you guys think ? got a pretty good final drive and with the higher profile tyres it cant be too far off a 2.1 petrol box ratios .
gonna be a freeway flyer or a freeway fcuk-up ?

looks like you would be doing 3884rpm @80mph

72mph @ 3500 with current set up ( 62 @ 3000)

76 @ 3500 with 2.1 petrol box and 195/80 15s

72 @ 3500 with 21.1 and 185/80 14s

dont think i'll bother changing it
