On what? :?

Standard VW OE wheels were the same all round, so they are interchangable.

Old sport cars maybe but ET on a VW Van is the same all rims round, at least that is what I have seen everywhere...

Maybe that mechanic was trying to say not the rims but the distance between tyres of the same axle...

in my opinion wheell et is dependant on what your looking for ..

if going for euro look like me you will need et 30 -9" front and et 15-10" rear

this is bassed on 18" wheels with 225 40 18 tyres and 245 40 18 rears

you can use et 30 all round but it looks well betters with a 20mm hub to hub adaptor bolted to the rear and is easyer to remove to fit your spare

i do work for a wheel specialist (a proper 1)

thee most important thing with wheels on vans (in my opinion) is not et its whether the wheels you plan to buy are weight rated for vans
they may look fine to you but if you do hit a big old pot hole will your wheel buckle or break off the van

and we know what will happen to the uncontrolable brick shaped wheelbarrow

if you need more help drop me an email www.rabrulez@hotmail.co.uk or sales@rondell.co.uk
