Hi,
Thinking off fitting an eber in the passenger footwell.
I was going to remove the panel in the middle of the van under the dash and above the heater channel to the rear of the van(1.9 Carravelle)
If that makes sense? in order to see if plumbing into the exsisting hot air pipework is possable.
The Haynes manual is no help and I am still saving for a Bentley(manual that is -not the car)
I can't see how it fixes on,Don't want to damage it-anyone any tips?

Hi Mig, on a 1.9 panel van ... i.e. no front>back ducting, the heater matrix facia panel slides off, gently pull it straight back and that's it.

same on a velle dash, but it kinda hooks under the main dash a bit........

tbh, i linked mine into the floor duct into the back, but the ebber fan isnt powerfull enough to make it worth it, so undid it..... works better as mr ebber designed it.......

we ducted ours and found it worked better without it, the pipe just got hot and the air flow was crud....just put it in the foot well with a 90 degree pipe. dont duct it through the dash pipework btw, it will just melt..................

Thanks guy's,it does just pull straight off,ours was just very tight,and after 26years I was a bit worried it would be a little brittle as well.
I was going to replace the dash ducting with the correct Eber or propex pipes in the hope of fairly instant windsceern demisting and that the original heater motor would held distribute the hot air...(its my daily drive in the winter when I am too much of a wimp to cycle)
Sounds like I may re-think it and possably put it under the passenger seat,
moving the lesisure battery to the engine bay.
