Whilst checking rear wheel bearings (and having one side jacked up) on my Doka I noticed that the front wheel turned when I turned the rear one.Does this indicate a problem or is this normal?
Thanks.

No.. if you have a side jacked up the wheel will turn.. the VC has a torque bias in anycase...
look at the syncronaughts site, sure there is tech check details there...
but as an indicator.. does it try and stop the vehicle when turning on near full lock on tarmac in first gear? this is still an very "subjective" indicator though...

Yes, what you would expect with a degree of static resistance inside the VC when cold.
If you put the handbrake on I imagine you could wind that front wheel around with a powerbar fairly easily...

Got to be worth a try.

Er.. no you shouldnt....... should you?
I read (IIRC a while back) that they reckon a force of 50ftlbs was needed for the wheel to turn slowly when 1 off the ground...
