Checked earths
Sometimes when it wont start you bump it and when you turn it off the darned thing will start..
Its often after a decent run like when calling in to fuel up
Ignition lights up and relay clicks and lights dim when trying..
Any other ideas apart from these :-
Ignition switch wear (but things are lighting up)
Starter bush??
Battery (but does turn over well and start as a rule)
:?: :?: :?: :?:
Had a look at wiki but just canvassing thoughts
Cheers

Hi think this is common issue. I had it on my van, solution was to change how the actual starter was powered. I cannot find the technical detail- check the wiki- basically you fit a relay onto the starter so that the power to the celunodi to engage the starter comes from the large power wire to the starter (Ccmes direct from battery) rather than having to travel all the way from the starter switch back to the starter- this travel through old wire long way means not enough power reaches starter to throw the switch to engage he starter. There is more resistance when the starter is hot which is why it happens when hot.

Sorry not a very good technical discription but sure someone else can provide details of where exactly fit relay etc
