Hello all, My wife and i are purchasing a 1990 caravelle then fitting a holdsworth villa interior and pop. I'm sure I will be picking brains on a regular basis as we've never owned a camper before. My questions at the moment are what sort of flooring to put in the back? We have 2 Basset Hounds so carpet's out of the question. Also does anyone know of a good resprayer in the west London area?
Many thanks
Andy

hi and welcome! for the flooring you want vinyl or laminate, and possibly some sort of seatbelt for the dogs!

Welcome to the club....
Good luck with the conversion....some have vinyl, some have lminate, others have arpet. Chequer board (metal floor) has been seen, and mine at the monet is pure wood...that composite stuff for shed roofs....but wil have sommat nice on top - I think I would like the chequer plate as it would gicve the dogs some grip, is easy to clean, and I can put a rug on it that is washable to keep my tootsies warm!
I have a 1990 caravelle too....will hopefully have a viking roof on it at some point....looks like a roof fitting party could be in order!
Take care, and see you around. If you are not doing anything next weekend, ome along to the fox and goose.....don't worry if you can't camp...just pop down for the day sat/sun or both and meet some of us. Its the pub in Greywell, near Hook. Not too far from you possibly!
take care
Emma

thanks discodave and ermie571, we'll try and pop down on the sunday as we're busy on saturday. It'll have to be in the wifes honda as we haven't got the van yet.
