Hi
got a new bush for the rear suspension arm for my t25,its the outside arm, took ages to get it off as the bolt wouldnt come out or punch through the arm anyway hacked it away and got it out.
is there an easy way to put the new 1 in? i was thinking boil the kettle method and get the rubber nice and supple this way before trying to pull it in with a g clamp?
any easier ideas?
thanks
Mark

SyncroSam has done this job and seem to remember a post about a year ago on it, might be there if you search hard enough (probably Syncro or Tech sections)..
Seem to remember its not fun! Rubber grease would help, that red stuff easy enough to find at a MotoFax shop, or vaseline I suppose!
Heavy studding (10~12mm, thick washers and a thick sleeve I imagine would eb the order of the day. Needs to be kept straight as ti goes in

A Good length of M10 or M12 (I can't remember) Thread Rod, several washers, a flat square plate to pull against some rubber grease and some patience.
Works a treat, just winds right in...

Agreed, doesn't need much force when using a lubricant. used bolt method to get mine out, albeit they are 2nd hand ones that are not yet fitted to the van

what a nightmare that was

new bush just seemed to compress and not go in the hole,at it for hours but done and passed MOT i had the same problem as mentioned in other thread about getting old bush out, bolt must have welded/rusted to the sleeve as had to hack into old bush to get it out, think id hand it in somewhere if i need another
thanks for the tips
