grar box trouble?

on the way back from vanfest my gear box failed
(great show tho) its an 87 2.1 95hp it managed 2 get stuck somewhere beetween 3rd n 4th, if ne1 has previous expereince with syncro gear box problems advice would be much appreciated, ta

Aiden will be along shortly.... are you sure it isn't just the linkage? get under and move the selector where it goes into the gearbox. and see if it goes in and out horizontally and front to back. Does it remain in gear even when clutch is depressed?

3rd/4th synchro hub failure - drop the box and send it in...do not carry on driving it it could get very very expensive quickly, regards

Cheers again guys! Its definately not the linkage, the selection arm from the box is stuck fast. Im in the process of droping it out 2 have a proper look. Its good to know there is help available thanks again

Give me a bell if you need to know anything more, I can have your box collected if on a pallet, but may also be passing nearby in the next ten days.
