There's no sea at Weston, it's mud!
There is a place just outside Bridgwater at Fiddington which aint bad.
We stayed there at Easter with the Type 2 Owners club.
Unfortunatly I can't remember the name of the place.

Iknow Weston aint exactly the best spot but we just want somewhere near to us where we can get some sea air! If anyone has any other ideas we'd be happy to hear them. Its either that or we stick to staying in forest sites, which we love but fancy a change!

I stayed at Warren Farm at Brean Sands (between Weston and Burnham)on the way down to Cornwall in July. It is a massive site but we were in the quieter Sunnyside area. There is a pub (Brean Down Inn) and chinese takeaway just outside the sunnyside entrance (which came in very handy) and you can go along a path across the road to get to the beach. Not too Blackpooly but I can't vouch for the other part of the site as the club house was extremely busy and we didn't hang round for long.
Here is the website -
http://www.warren-farm.co.uk/ and it looks like it is only £6.50 per night for 2 people + £2.50 if you want EHU.

There's a nice looking site at Uphill -- approx 1 or 2 miles south of Weston central.
Never stayed or had a nose round - so no promises - but it's adjacent the massive sand flats where I go land sailing. There's a couple of pubs neaby as well.
It may be Caravan Club or something.

Try the above link - I'm sure this is the site.
There is normally a field of Alpachas next door as well.
