i have been offered a 2.1 petrol engined camper, have had most variants but not one of these , what is mpg like and any inherent problems?? ..cheers

2.1 not really any different to the 1.9's (its the same engine) apart from more power... electrical gremlins can occur in the injection system, but not bad..
Same wbx problems can occur.. so give the engine a good once over..

apparently 120k on the clock?

The DJ engine is pretty reliable and powerful (112 BHP) IMHO ... no cat to worry about either and can be converted to LPG to make it quite cheap to run - typically 22mpg running on petrol but 40mpg on LPG.
