We have started the refurb of the inside of our van. 4 HOURS! it took to remove the original carpet as it had been stuck down with some super strong adhesive that Autohomes in their wisdom decided to use

Anyway, the real help is required with recovering of the seats. Unfortunately they are quite badly aged and in places are disintigrating due to sun damage(see pics) and we were wondering if anyone else has done theirs? If so where did you get material, and where did you get them retrimmed? Does anyone know where I can get hold of similar material to the original? Any pics would be appreciated.

Thanks to people who replied to this post. The seats have been sorted, bought a seat back at vanfest for £10 ! and recovered the base with the material from the original.

The next problem was the vaneer peeling off the cupboard doors:

We saw a Autohomes for sale at Vanfest where the cupboards had been retrimmed with Fablon - not something that we would have considered doing, but after seeing how good the finish was we decided to have a go

We were going to have doors made by a kitchen manufacturer, but we are glad we didn't as the results are great. We ended up re-trimming all the door edges as the difference between the old and new vaneer was too obvious but the result was well worth it. Required a heat gun, VERY sharp blades and loads of swearing but well worth the effort - can recommend this method.

The interior now looks as good as new (well as close as a 20 year old van can).
