Hi,

Can anyone advise me. I have a badly rusted rear door at the bottom. Its come away from the main door, the vents have rusted away. The door works fine and locks well enough.

Should I get the bottom ground off and a plate welded on or should I get a complete new door. If its a new door, can the locks be changed so Its my old one the van.

Does that make any kind of sense?

its an up to you type of job as for a new door depends on the age of your van as at some piont the door design was slightly canged but some one on here will tell you that as i dont know!!

get a new door.you want a later door.as the lock push is a lot smaller on the early doors.changing the lock is a doddle...
