CURTAINS advice

The missus has been working hard on the curtains but the trial run last week threw up a few probs.
Using the silent Gliss track with plastic sliders and the recommended curtain tape - the curtains derail very easily. We have used the fixed stoppers at the ends and these are fine - but the square plastic sliders refuse to stay attached and come off in sympathy when one jumps ship.
Any advice appreciated...?

They shouldn't come off, have you got the right size for the rail

As trickydicky says, these sliders don't easily come off.

SOrry - didn't make it clear - it isn't the sliders that come off - it is the curtain tape that jumps off the sliders.
We think we have gone with the correct tape for the sliders but the little slice/hole in the tape into which the slider inserts is not particularly tight and often slips over the slider when we close them.

Hi mikey
It might be a bit of a pain but if you use Roman Blind Tape instead of curtain tape they can't fall off. The Silent Gliss track plastic sliders lock in behind the Roman Blind tape.
If you are lucky you may have the older style curtain tape that will allow you do do the same.

Thanks for the excellent pics - that explains why yours don't fall off. We are using the same tape and rail as you but the pic appears to show you using different plastic sliders to us.
The loop on our tape hangs "over" the plastic slider on the outside of the track - not "behind" as you show in your pics, (thus locking it in place).
We only have the sliders like you show at the ENDS of the curtain where we fasten them between the metal stoppers.
Did you just buy lots of plastic end sliders and if so where did you order them from?
(excuse the made up terminology - don't know what they are actually called)
I would post a pic but the van is 350 miles away being gassed by Steve!

I had the same problem, the "tape" or string just pulled the the clips then hung so loose they were useless. As my sister made the curtains for me, she simply said dont worry I will stitch them on, so thats what she is doing as we speak
