Whats the best thickness and grade of foam for the bed in our campers?

Are foam toppers any good?

Try Yellow Pages for a local foam supplier, and have a look-see at what they sell and recommend, there is loads of different types/densities to chose from so they may be able to give the best advice. Maybe go with a dual-density mattress?

Make sure it's of the flame-resistant variety.

efoam.co.uk works out to be about £60 for all the seat foam of resonable quality for the T25.

justkampers do a pre cut set for about £70

I got three matresses from P.A.L army surplus nr baldock ( 4inch * 32in * 6foot ) for £3 each, you have to go and help them collect them so you make sure you get the ones still in the plastic bags it means they are brand new ;)

Went ot Dunhelm Mill and sadly their pieces were too deep and not long enough

Needed 114cm x 460cm and all they had were 100cm x 58cm :? (4x18x45 inches)

A bugger too as they were only charging £14 for it.

I found www.foamforhome.co.uk and they quoted £35 with stockingette and wrapped with free delivey does that seem reasonable? Only local foam supplier in preston quoted £27.80 standard

got my from dunhelm mill and yes there sizes were not big enough in one piece but I cut and carpet glued my together to the correct size and then when covered you never know they are joined and really comfortable. Best to cut it with an electric kitchen knifes. Hope this helps.
