My van failed the MOT on emisssions, 5.19% CO (max 4.5%), HC 1435ppm (max 1200).
I've borrowed a gas analyser to set the CO reading, but don't know if the HC reading will come down automatically when i adjust the CO? What is the relationship between the two? How do i reduce the HC reading?
