1.6 to passat 1.6td

ok my dads 1.6d is dead
Just picked up a h reg passat 1.6td with intercooler.
about to start the swap.
does anyone have any info on the finer points of this engine swap?
any info would be a great help. like do i need to fit a different turbo like from a JX

1.6 exhaust down pipe diffrent .1.6td down pipe from turbo required + jx t25 1.6td engine turbo & manifold .Or use passat engine turbo & manifold but modification for down pipe connection to exhaust as position on engine is diffrent to jx .1.6td sump needed diffrent to 1.6n .Diesel fuel pump higher requires engine lid above pump to be raised slightly oh spiget bearing this goes into the crank for the input shaft on the gearbox.Its a straight forward provided you have the 1.6td sump as this has the oil feed for the jx turbo and use the 1.6 oil pump not passat.Others on here hopefull will advice . If you use the passat turbo i think you will need to change the chassis shape near where the engine mount is on that side.

No you dont need to have a JX engine .Only the parts off it to fit on the passat engine.
