fuel tank pipe sizes

I know this has been asked before what are the internal diameters of the fuel pipes that connect the main tank to the over flow tanks on either side?
Mine are all pershised!

May be wrong but im pretty sure theyre one eighth inch internal. Bit of a push and shove to get them on mind!

That hose is 5.5mm int dia and will cost a fortune from VAG (part no. N 900-996-03) but cheaper if you can find an imperial equivalent size.

5.6mm works fine and easy to get... just done some on my 2wd... its normally fuel injection type hose...
