Lhd to Rhd

Has anyone out there converted a T25 from left to righthand drive?
Is it dooable or a dose!?

if you had a RHD one for braeking then it should not be to bad ,, you will have to cut and weld in tin from the RHD for bevel box steering ,,, then there's the pedle box pluss rack ,,,,, window washer bottle which side is yours on ,,,,, there's prob a bit more to it ,,,, i'll do one but not yet ''' i've done Range Rovers in the past ,, bit of a big job ABS,, air suspension ,, wire's

Wipers on wrong side, Insurance might be a problem, .... but it can be done. Anything can be done if you have deep enough pockets and enough time.
Could always get a rhd of similar value to your lhd .... Then sell your lhd.. Much easier and cheaper.

Nice one lads.
I have a sh*ty Rhd for breaking, just finding it difficult to get me hands on a decent panel van for everyday work use.
I was thinkin it might be easier to get a good Lhd from Germany or some place.
Like you say if yer have enough money and time anything's possible!
I have plenty of time, but the cash....

everyday work use get a t4 diesel, I know it's not nice, but it's the sensible decision, my T25 panel van cost twice as much and that was a few years ago before they started going up, it's great vehicle, but I wouldn't do it again knowing what I know now, and now the parts are going obsolete....as to lhd/rhd conversion even Russell wouldn't do it, I think that says enough.

i did it, i certainly wouldn't recommend it to a "novice".
if you area compitent mechanic, great welder, and are able to cut fingers and lose skin without throwing a hammer thru the garage. then by all means give it a go.
you DO need a donor RHD van, there are brackets, n bits that you wont even know about till you start the conversion!
it took me at least 60 hours, i'm pleased with the results, but i'm not 100% sure weather it was really worth it!
