My dash board cigarette lighter is worn so plugs just fall out when using it as a 12v socket !! need to fit a new one but cannot see how to remove it does anyone know ?

they have a threaded piece behind the dash.i have to remove my glovebox to get to mine.you will need to unscrew it.stick your hand up under the dash.it probably just needs the two metal prongs inside it pulling out a bit.dont use anything metal..
