Front diff needed

Well,

The only Syncro 16" (2.1DJ) from Canary Islands (not mine, mine is 14") needs a new or a good second hand front differential... The only thing I know while talking to my friend was that the front diff locking teeth were a bit broken and the mechanic says to buy a new diff.
Where can I get one for my friend? I have visited Bernd Jaeger and Busschmiede but I have not seen anything, just the pinion gear and the ring/crown gear...
Any help?

Hi Victor,

ask in the parts section of the IG16" forum.

D'ya think it'll go in our 22Kg luggage limit if we happen to spend a week in Tenerife... but don't think bucket flights do extra allowances, apart from golf clubs and flowers back from Madeira.

Quite rare for the diff-lock pawls to break I would have thought, trying to climb some lava flows with a broken front CVJ perhaps

Good luck sorting it out for him...

You really need to find a tame Iberia airline captain... no limit on their luggage allowance, I bet :)

You then end up with a garage like Aidans or Clives

Well, my friend, of course, asks me about the weight of the diff... maybe is better fix it here and only change the broken parts... I have to visit that mechanic and then make some pics... I will keep you updated!
