Wrong Silencer Connection

I have just bought a new silencer for my 1981 a/c 1600 and when removing the old one noticed the connections are different. The new one has oval shaped plates with 2 holes ready to clamp, whereas the existing uses the bracket that curves around and clamps top and bottom.

Click the link to see the pics, i have also noticed the tailpipe is longer.

Can anyone tell me where to get the correct silencer from, this was bought from JK and is for a CT engine.

Well, after fitting one heat transfer pod and the connectors each side, the new exhaust works and sounds a treat.

After all i didnt have to remove the o/s transfer pod.

Just kampers will accept treurns so that will save some money.

Sorry for the panic guys, but thanks for the advice.
