Coming home Sunday and engine lost all power and stopped, when I turn the key with a fully charged battery it just clicks.I,ve removed all the plugs and there's no sign of excess oil or foreign bodies.I,ve tried turning the engine with a big socket in the fan bit at the back behind the little plastic domed grill to no avail. Have I seized it and are there any other checks I could try? Its a 1600 ct engine by the way.
Sorry for the essay

I'm no expert, but have you considered it might be your starter motor?

Could that have caused the power loss?

No nothing just a clonk as I turn the key. Am I trying to turn the engine manually in the right place?

Afternoon. I could pop down to yours this weekend coming to have a look. I have a CT engine myself and after stripping it down completly and rebuilding it, kind of know it inside out! Working until then though but free at this weekend if you still need help. Got some CT top end spares too, just in case!
