Fresh water tank and TV Aerial

I have a 1989 Autohomes Kameo that had an onboard water tank under the seat. I was not very happy with this tank because it had no drain outlet, which made it almost impossible to completely empty and clean. So I decided to remove it and the exterior filler. I reshaped the filler opening and fitted an exterior 12 volt pump as used on caravans. Now I can fill up with fresh water every day and when I want to leave the site for a day's touring, I just unclip the pump. I don't have to carry around loads of water and all the extra weight. We do take a bottle of water with us just to make a brew. All the extra space under the seat is now used for vitals such as a couple of dozen cans of Stella, comprehensive toolkit and emergency spares(such as a couple of dozen cans of Stella).
The TV aerial is simply clamped to the van and the lead is fitted to the exterior socket. The cable from this socket has been fed through the back of the interior units to a socket located at the rear of the work surface adjacent to the TV. The aerial(Image) was recommended by the shop owner as the best for receiving the freeview channels, and it has proved to be an excellent buy. The aerial is removed from the van by unscrewing a plastic nut. The pole is in three parts which unclip just like a tent pole.

I'm liking the aerial set-up, wondered if a external socket was an option while away last week and trying to get cable through smallest possible window gap!

I bought the external socket from my local caravan accessories shop for about £8.00. It came as a kit with a few metres of cable attached. I got the interior socket from a hardware shop for £1.50.

In areas of poor reception the height of the aerial can be increased by adding another 3ft pole.
