Its a mystery! can any one tell me why when after fitting s new speedo cable does the speedometer needle waver about flickering to the left and the right, any solutions anyone??

is the new cable all the way in ,,,

Disconnect the speedo end of the cable and run 3-in-1 down it (like we used to do with the old bike cables using a plasticene funnel ). As has been said, also check the drive end's located correctly.
