My LPG tank is the doughnut style, vertically mounted at the rear offside corner of the van.
Any ideas about how to put a soft cover over it to make it look and feel nicer.
I did wonder about one of those spare wheel covers you see on some Bays ?
btw - neither of us is much good at being seamstresses !

Yeah, what he ^ said.
What about a nice tacky brushed chrome spare wheel cover like you see on the back of those Nipponese 4x4's
Ian.

might be worth trying some of the larger soft furnishings shops and looking at cushion covers. i know you can get round ones its just a case of if you can find one big enough.
you could possibly pad it with a sheet of foam cut to fit as well.

That sounds like a good idea
or
Someone could set up and make and sell them on here and eBay etc ??
This time next year you could be a millionaire ...
Mind you, VW logo'd / colour co-ordinated curtains, bed sheets, quilt covers, cushions as well as LPG tank covers - could be a winner on Dragons Den

I can try and make you one if you find the fabric if you want. Ours is in the old wardrobe, but I'm sure I could give it a measure and let you know how much fabric is needed.
Let me know if you're interested. (I'm going to have a few weeks on my hands soon, so light jobs will keep me out of mischief!!)
