Just been reading postings about interior lighting. Didn't see any mention of the following:
B&Q sell quite cheap halogen lights for kitchens, bathrooms etc. They consist usually of a bar, transformer, wiring and several bulbs and holders. If you take the bulbs seperately they are 12 volt. I have two wired up from my leisure battery. All you need do is drill a hole of the appropriate size, spring in the holder and wire up! Easy and cheap
Just make sure you are aware of the heat they give off and therefrore any fire hazard . Use a fair bit of battery power too but they are neat.

I think you have said it all - give off too much heat and consume a lot of electricity!

FIRE HAZARD!!! Don't use them or take them out if you have already fitted them.

Common sense should prevail! The safety of you/yourfamily/your camper is paramount at all times!
