Hi Mudlark,
the file downloads as 'spd7.mp4.txt' so I had to delete the .txt extention for it to play in QuickTime on my Mac. Even then it doesn't play smoothly in QT and the transitions don't show. However it plays nice if I use VLC on the Mac.
Nice movie
Sad I couldn't make it

Nice clip, I agree, works better in VLC!
Did anything heavier make it up that hill?

No, it was a bit wet, rock with a thin smattering of earth and vegetation in places. and starting to get cut up.. I refused it this year
Last year, Mark drove my Doka up when we recce'd the site, easily but arriving at the top we found the ledge a few foot over the summit and we were rocking on the prop bars, so with me out of the truck watching, backed down quite safely.
Sam I think was the first to 'do the move' last year, up and a sharp left, Aidan too I think.
Russel took his Red one up and then inched over the ledge with the sills almost scraping
I wouldn't take a heavy camper up in the wet... as always, a fair bit steeper than it looks in the vid. Andy tried twice before in G gear and then decided on a better run-up and 1st gear - G fine in the dry last year.
Several steep hills required 1st for momentum.. lesson learnt

No problems at all with my Quicktime..?
What version of QT are people running?

Ahh... fair enough. I thought Russel might have driven the Westfalia Hilton up there with Zara egging him on...

7.1.6 - the latest, on a Mac.
Normally it behaves very well. Wonder what the file was encoded with?

I think she was, and probably Leah too in her own cute way, but unlike the single lads in their single cabs, we both thought better of it for much the same reasons - getting our charges and all the stuff we came with back home
I think my AUW on the way home wasn't far short of Russel's

There certainly wasn't a cubic foot of space anywhere on board by the time we'd collected a few more T25 spares from Gloucester (just to make sure my lockup is earning it's keep, you understand - if I can get in it, it's not

)

Hi Boltze;
No idea about totals, dont know if the figures were ever recorded anywhere for Uk Syncros let alone types; but there are bound to be more than we think
