Hi all

I have a fiberglass roof on my transporter! It looks like it was beemed of an ice-cream van. Its not the full length of the van, and has been plonked in the middle of the van (about 8" from the front, and 24" from the back. I dont like the roof, but i dont have a lot of money to replace it. I thought it might look better in if i moved it to the front. (the hole cut inside is just the right size to do it!!) Can anybody tell me how to do this, or does anyone know of an elivating roof for sale?

Cheers all, JAMES

I'm in the same boat as you James, no money!! But if you were to go to the effort of moving it back then you might as well remove it and look for a pop top - (possibly about £100 for one)

Looks very much like your average high top chopped in half horizontally and re-applied.......

Leisuredrive have an offer on T25 Hardtops I understand , at the moment.
That would be a proper long term solution and good storage space too.
Don't forget that metal you cut out needs relacing with metal you put in, unless you want a wobbly van of course.
