just thought i would introduce myself,
heres some pics of my panel its a work in progress ..

its a 1.9 wasser but i have just got a full diesel engine+box so hopefully should be a gti conversion at some point,

Nice van mate how wide are your front alloys they look quite wide, just bought some wide ones for mine and gonna need all the help i can get making them fit

they are 8x16 bbs mahles ,im half way through polishing the rear ones so wont look as much like a cut and shut :oops: ,

Mine are the same width did you have any problems with the wheel arches? Mine are et 45 so after spacers to clear the suspension they might foul the arches i will try and fit them next week. Any tips you have will be great thanks.

i have had no problems with the wheels on the front at all,they dont scrub or touch anywhere ,
im not sure the et of my wheels (guessing around et30),but i may space them out even further,

i have fitted the mirrors by using one of the existing mounting holes and then screwing straight into the door for the other mount :oops: ,
they have been like this for a few months now and havent moved ,
they also give a pretty good view of whats behind you!

(must be time for some new pics as im running different wheels at the moment and got my new seats fitted as well!)

they screw from the outside ,
but the holes in the corrado mirrors are angled so these holes need to be "straightened" if you get the corrado mirrors its all quite obvious what needs to be done when there in front of you,

Me van has been laid up all winter :cry: ,
but should be back bigger and better :wink: ,
i have accumulated a 1z tdi engine + bellhousing / sump etc
a "few" sets of wheels :roll:
Half leather seats
interior is getting a revamp
tinted rear lights
and possibly a paintjob,
wish me luck :shock:
