Wind Deflector fitting

What are / where do the metal clips fit on the heko deflector
I'm assuming they are placed on top of the deflector before fitting?

new toy?? think mine came with clips but they weren't needed!! just popped in to the window channel and they are held firm!!!

Thanks dave, yes your right they fit snugly enough and look great
..I'm still curious though as to there function and where to put them.
I have a feeling it's a one chance go at it too!

remove the backing of the bits of sticky tape and slot the deflector in place, then wind the window up and press firmly against the glass where the bits of tape are

I did put the clips in about 10cm from each end but I don't if I should have bothered - pm the mercs
